The mechanism works great and is easy to move from one weight to another. Sometimes it sticks a little bit but I haven't been able to tell if it is a problem with me or the weight. A little bit of giggling the mechanism and it selects the correct weight no problem.
The dumbbells are amazing however one of the 50 lbs box came crushed and multiple plates were scratched up including the handle alignment being shifted so the change in plates were hard to adjust.
I reached out to customer support and provided videos and pictures on the shipment. They responded within a day and are shipping me a new 50 lbs without me repacking and returning the damaged goods.

Downside..indoor use only, and cant drop them or bang them around. I have no problem with either. These are an awesome setup. 5-80 lbs!!! Compare the price of sets of dumbells! Easy set up and user friendly. Highly recommended for disciplined lifters that dont throw weights around their gym.

These weights were delivered quickly and could not have been easier to assemble. The weight adjustment is seamless and they have been used every day since they arrived. I like that your hand doesn’t feel trapped in a cage like some of the square weights sold (ex. Powerblock), this design seems more natural to me.

I've had 3 sets of adjustable dumbbells, the first was a set of Weiders, which are fantastic at their price point. However, they only go up to 50 pounds. I bought the 80 pound Nuobells as a complementary set and you can immediately notice the product's quality. It's super easy to switch the amount of weight. Just be careful with the weights and handle them gently, they're not meant to handle being dropped repeatedly.

The dumbbells are incredible. I have never seen them in real life. All the adjustable bells I had seen previously were clunky and not functional. These are game changers!
So far so good with the addition of a pair of the NUOBELL 80lb + Stand to our existing home gym setup. Definitely a big improvement from our previous, much older adjustable dumbbell setup.
